Earth Day 2008

April 26th

We have a new theme this year - Earth Day 2008: trees please. Earth Day is a time to meet people from other organizations, get out your message, and recruit members, volunteers, and interested people.  It is a fun day to be outside, talk to new friends, and learn about all the great things that are happening in our community.  To make sure that the event is as interesting, entertaining, educational, and enjoyable as possible we would like to invite YOU to be at Earth Day 2008!  The theme is to bring awareness to the problem of deforestation, with a specific focus on canopy cover in New Hanover County.

The festivities will be held at Hugh McRae Park on Saturday, April 26th, 2008 from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

I am very blessed to live the life that I do.” Some people need a big break or money to do what it is that their heart desires. But for David Hervey, he is doing what he always has dreamed of... creating art and music.
